RISEUP Privacy Policy

Last Updated: Thursday 06 August, 2026

Aurix Labs ("we", "our", or "us") built RISEUP, a personal fitness training app. This Privacy Policy explains how RISEUP handles information, separate from Aurix Labs' general site policy, since RISEUP works with categories of data (fitness and health information) that deserve their own clear explanation.

1. Our core principle

RISEUP is built to work entirely on your device. We do not run any servers that store or process your personal data. We do not collect, sell, or share your information with anyone — not advertisers, not analytics companies, not us.

2. Information RISEUP stores

To work as a personal training app, RISEUP stores the following information **locally on your device**:

- Basic profile details you provide (name, age, gender, height, weight)

- Your fitness goals and training preferences

- Your workout history, ranks, levels, and progress over time

- Any injuries or physical limitations you choose to flag, and their severity/duration

- Your training streak and personal records

This information is used for one purpose only: to run your training plan and show you your own progress. It never leaves your device except through the optional backup described below, which you control.

3. Health and fitness data, specifically

Some of the information above (weight, injuries, training history) falls under "health and fitness" data categories that Apple's App Store and Google Play ask apps to disclose clearly. To be direct:

- This data is entered by you, stored only on your device, and used   only to power your own training plan.

- We do not access, view, transmit, or analyze this data on any   server, because no such server exists.

- We do not share this data with any third party for advertising,   research, or any other purpose.

4. Optional backup — your cloud, not ours

RISEUP can optionally back up your profile and progress to **your own** Google Drive or iCloud account, entirely under your control:

- This is off by default and only happens if you choose to turn it on.

- The backup file goes directly to your personal cloud storage — we   never receive, see, or store a copy of it ourselves.

- You can disconnect this at any time from Settings, which stops   future backups (it does not delete what's already in your cloud   account — that's managed through your own Google/Apple account).

- RISEUP also keeps a small automatic local backup on your device

itself, which never leaves your device and requires no account.

**Google Drive access, specifically:** if you choose to connect Google Drive backup, RISEUP requests limited permission to create and access only the backup file it creates in your Drive — it cannot see, browse,

or modify any of your other Drive files. RISEUP's use and transfer of any information received through Google APIs adheres to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements: information obtained through

Google Drive access is used only to provide and improve the backup feature described here, is never used for advertising, and is never transferred to any third party except as necessary to provide this feature or comply with the law.

5. Payments and subscriptions

If you choose to upgrade to RISEUP Pro, payment is processed securely through the official app store platform (Apple App Store or Google Play) and our subscription management provider, RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details. RevenueCat may process limited purchase information (such as your subscription status) to verify your purchase — see RevenueCat's own privacy policy for details

on how they handle that information.

6. Notifications

RISEUP can send you local reminders (such as a daily training reminder) directly from your device. These are scheduled on your device itself — they do not involve sending your data to any external push-notification server.

7. Third-party services

RISEUP does not use advertising networks, behavioral analytics, or tracking systems. The only third-party services involved are:

- **RevenueCat** (subscription/payment processing — see Section 5)

- **Google Drive or iCloud** (only if you choose to enable backup —   see Section 4), governed by Google's or Apple's own privacy policies   for those services. Our use of Google Drive access specifically complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including   its Limited Use requirements, as described in Section 4.

8. Data deletion

Since your data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by using the "Reset all progress" option in Settings, or by uninstalling the app. If you connected cloud backup, deleting the backup file from your own Google Drive or iCloud is managed through your own Google or Apple account settings.

9. Children's Privacy

RISEUP is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in RISEUP or

legal requirements. Updated versions will always be published on

this page.
